This dazzling ring showcases an amazing 7mm (approx. 1.75 carat) Zultanite gemstone. I've set this unique stone in a handmade 14k rose gold setting on a 3mm wide comfort-fit 14k rose gold band. All of the metal used in the construction of this ring is from recycled sources.

Zultanite is a 100% natural gemstone with no enhancements. It is ethically mined with environmentally sound methods and fair wages for miners. Zultanite is extremely rare; few have had the pleasure to behold its incredible beauty. Only one mine produces genuine Zultanite, in the remote mountains of Turkey. This gorgeous stone has natural color change properties, showing green in sunlight and fluorescent light, and displaying pink and/or yellow flashes in soft incandescent light and candlelight.

Because Zultanite measures a 6.5-7.0 on the Mohs hardness scale, it is important to be aware that it can abrade or chip with very hard daily wear. It is not as hard as diamond, moissanite, sapphire, and the like - more comparable in hardness to peridot, amethyst, and garnet (not quite as soft as opal though). If you plan to wear Zultanite on an everyday basis (such as for a wedding/engagement ring), and especially if you tend to be hard on your jewelry, I recommend looking into having it scheduled separately on your insurance policy to provide for stone replacement in case of damage.

Due to the value of this piece, shipping costs have been adjusted to include insurance within the United States. I do offer international shipping; if you live outside the US, please contact me for a quote specific to your location. Due to the lack of availability of insurance through the US postal service for international packages, I use FedEx when shipping overseas; this is a more expensive but far safer option. International buyers, please be aware that you are solely responsible for any duties/taxes that your country may charge on imported goods.

As is all my jewelry, this piece is vegan, meaning no animal products (pearls, silk, leather, etc.) were used in its construction.
