Pam Abdy has left Scott Stuber’s Bluegrass Films and has joined New Regency as president of production.
Abdy is a respected executive who also made waves as president of Jersey Films when the company produced Zach Braff’s directorial debut Garden State.

She then segued to Paramount where, as executive vice president of development and production, she oversaw films including Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island, Kimberly Peirce’s Stop-Loss, Oliver Stone’s World Trade Center, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s Babel and Mark Waters’ Mean Girls.
Since 2008 she’s been at Bluegrass, where she oversaw the production of Identity Thief and the upcoming 47 Ronin and Endless Love.
